Recipe: Clearspring's Creamy Tofu Tomato Carbonara
A delicious creamy bowl of comfort food - a bowl of delicious spaghetti with no dairy products, this is a really easy, simple recipe to make on a busy day. Vegan-friendly and with no refined sugar.

Ingredients

1 pack Clearspring Organic Japanese Tofu - Silken & Smooth

1 jar Clearspring Demeter Organic Italian Pasta Sauce - Basilico (this recipe used Basil, but there are other flavours to choose from)
- 200g spaghetti
- a hand full of fresh rocket

Clearspring Organic Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil
-
Clearspring Organic Japanese Yaemon Tamari Soya Sauce - Double Strength
- Clearspring Traditional Unrefined Sea Salt
Method
1. Open and drain the pack of tofu, add to a blender and blend until smooth. Add the jar of tomato sauce and blend until the sauce and tofu are mixed well.
2. Bring a large pot of water to the boil, add the salt and cook your spaghetti to the pack instructions
3. Once the spaghetti is cooked, drain and leave in the colander or sieve. Rinse the pot and add the sauce from the blender, heating it on medium heat. Add Yaemon Tamari soya sauce
4. Add the spaghetti to the warmed sauce and mix well, then drizzle over some olive oil and dish up onto two plates.
5. Top with a small handful of rocket. Enjoy!.
