Ecommerce Assistant
Reporting to: Website Manager
Role Overview
The Ecommerce Assistant will support the daily trading, merchandising, optimisation and performance of Evergreen’s ecommerce platform. This role ensures campaigns are executed flawlessly, products are optimised for conversion, and trading performance is continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities
Website Trading & Merchandising
- Optimise PDPs including descriptions & imagery for SEO, compliance and discoverability
- Execute & maintain category and campaign landing pages
- Manage collections and merchandising logic
- Support Website Manager with execution of subscription and bundling strategy
- Support Web Team with uploading products
- Coordinate with Warehouse Manager and Purchasing Coordinator for stock availability
Conversion Rate Optimisation
- Monitor conversion rate, AOV and bounce rate identifying issues as and when they occur
- Identify friction points
- Improve PDP structure and content
Campaign Execution
- Support Website Manager with monthly campaign content for email and social
- Implement homepage banners and updating of site graphics
- Build campaign collections
- Ensure correct pricing & promotions
SEO & Product Optimisation
- Optimise keywords across Evergreen.ie to ensure best possible SEO ranking
- Execute SEO best practices including link strategy, meta data and redirects
Reporting & Insights
- Support the Website Manger with weekly and monthly trade reporting, including product & category performance, growth opportunities and promotion analysis
- Use insights to support generation of roadmap for Evergreen.ie, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth
Ideal Candidate
- 2+ years ecommerce experience
- Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Commercial mindset with a creative eye
- Detail-oriented
- Please note this role is based 5 days a week in our Galway office

Pick, Pack & Despatch Operative
We're recruiting for a full-time pick, pack and dispatch operative to be part of our award-winning online team. A permanent, year-round position, this role would suit someone eager and self-motivated with strong organisational and time-management skills.
Duties Include
- Gathering stock for orders
- Order sorting & cataloguing
- Packaging orders
- Arranging dispatch
What We Are Looking For
- Fluent English
- Strong organisational, time management & communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
- IT skills are an advantage
Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential. Approximately 37.5 hours per week, to include some evenings and weekends.

E-Commerce Manager (Maternity Cover)

Fixed-Term Contract – 12 Months
Evergreen Healthfoods is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Manager to lead the performance and day-to-day management of our growing ecommerce business during a maternity leave contract.
This role is responsible for driving online sales performance through effective digital trading, merchandising, customer journey optimisation and campaign execution. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting Evergreen’s continued ecommerce growth across health, wellness, supplements and skincare categories.
This is a commercially focused role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and has a strong understanding of ecommerce operations, digital merchandising and customer behaviour.
Ecommerce Trading & Performance
- Own weekly and monthly ecommerce sales performance
- Monitor trading against revenue, conversion and AOV targets
- Identify risks and opportunities quickly and implement corrective actions
- Support seasonal campaigns, product launches and promotional activity
- Oversee platform stability and incident response ensuring issue with the site are dealt with swiftly
Website Merchandising & Optimisation
- Oversee homepage, category and product merchandising
- Optimise onsite search, filtering and product discovery
- Improve customer journey and onsite conversion performance
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor and report on ecommerce KPIs
- Analyse performance trends and identify actionable insights
Product & Content Management
- Oversee product launches, imagery and product content
- Ensure product information is accurate, SEO-friendly and commercially effective
- Work with internal teams and suppliers to improve product storytelling
- Support the development of SEO-rich blog and category content
CRM, Digital Marketing & Campaign Management
- Own the ecommerce campaign calendar in collaboration with the wider marketing team
- Build, schedule and deploy email marketing campaigns through Klaviyo
- Segment customer audiences and support lifecycle marketing initiatives including promotional, automated and
retention-focused email campaigns - Monitor email campaign performance including open rate, click-through rate, conversion and revenue contribution
- Brief external agency partners on paid social campaigns, PPC campaigns, campaign creative, promotional activity and email marketing requirements
- Work collaboratively with agencies to optimise campaign performance and ensure alignment with commercial objectives
- Support campaign launches with landing pages, collections, onsite merchandising and promotional content
- Coordinate digital activity across ecommerce, email, paid media and social channels to ensure a consistent customer experience
Skills & Experience
Essential
- 5+ years ecommerce, digital trading or ecommerce merchandising experience
- Experience with Shopify and Klaviyo
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset
- Experience using GA4 and ecommerce reporting tools
- Strong understanding of ecommerce campaign execution across email, paid social and PPC
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Experience coordinating with digital marketing agencies
Desirable
- Experience with merchandising tools
- Experience in retail, wellness, beauty or FMCG
- Understanding of SEO and content optimisation
