Period pants are underwear that fully absorb your menstrual flow, so that you can say goodbye to tampons and pads, allowing you the freedom to simply bleed into your underwear… WITHOUT leaks. Each pair of WUKA Period Pants has a super absorbent gusset made up of many layers. The middle layers absorb and lock-in the blood, whilst the outer, moisture-wicking layers keep you feeling secure and dry.
What fabric are these period pants made from?
Wuka period pants are made from Tencel, an eco-friendly fabric made from responsibly sourced wood pulp from carefully managed beech tree forests. Tencel is FSC certified, which ensures that the trees are sustainably managed and environmental and social standards are met. The fibres are compostable and biodegradable, which means they can fully revert back to nature.
How do I wash my period pants?
After use, give them a quick rinse. Pop your WUKAs in the washing machine with similar, dark coloured garments and wash at 30 to 40 degrees. Use your favourite detergent as normal, but please don’t use fabric conditioner (this can reduce the absorbency of your period pants over time). Alternatively, WUKA Period Pants love to be hand washed which can extend their lifespan. Air dry your WUKA Period Pants outside on the line or indoors on an airer.
How many pairs of period pants do I need?
The amount of period pants you may need depends on how heavy your flow is and how long your periods tend to last. 5-7 pairs is best for most of our customers, considering they last up to 2 years, but you know your flow best!
