My name is Joe Gould and I’m the owner of Honestly It's Keto.
What inspired you to join the natural health sector?
I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition back in 2009. I was in and out of hospital and getting nowhere on harsh medications that were making my body worse. I decided to go down the natural route and the elimination of processed foods, refined sugars, and gluten from my diet. I went into remission within a month, and I started making snacks for myself as I have a massive sweet tooth which later turned into successful health snack brand Honestly It's Keto.
Where did you get the idea for your brand?
I could see the increasing popularity of the keto diet and realised how hard it was to get keto snacks, especially all natural ones.
What makes your brand unique?
We're the only keto snack company in Ireland.
What are your company’s core values?
All natural ingredients, no artificial sweeteners and gluten free
How do you support your community?
We often donate hampers and boxes for charity events and raffles when asked.
What has been the most rewarding part of your brands journey?
The amount of messages we get from people saying how we’ve helped them as they’ve found it so difficult to change their diet and lives without having a something sweet.
What in your opinion makes Irish brands unique?
I think a lot of Irish brands have a homemade and artisan feel to them to them and we're following that.

The consumer. The growing number of people who are starting to acknowledge food as medicine and pay more attention to what they eat helps brands like us grow and thrive.
