1
Cream together the butter and sugar until soft and silky and then stir in the milk.
2
Pour in the flour, Winter Warmer Spiced Hot Chocolate powder, baking powder and a pinch of salt and stir to a thick dough. Roll into a ball, wrap tightly and place in the fridge for 20 minutes.
3
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 160Fan/180*C and line a work surface with baking paper and a dusting of flour.
4
Roll the dough out between two sheets of parchment to abut ½ cm thick. Cut out circles or shapes and transfer to a lined cookie sheet. Bake for 10-11 minutes until firm and crisping at the edges. Transfer to a wire rack and allow to cool fully.
5
Stir together the icing sugar and water to a thick paste and spread over the cookies in a melting design (or pipe it on for neater “puddles”). Allow the icing to set.
6
Top each cookie with a marshmallow snowman and then place some sprinkles on for buttons. Use the melted chocolate and a toothpick to add on faces and arms and top add some chocolate on top of the marshmallows for hats. Allow to set and dust with icing sugar.
