Solaris Tea Organic Lapsang Souchong Tea is a fine quality herbal tea with a unique, distinctive flavour. This certified organic tea is a fully fermented black tea. To obtain the balanced sweet and smoky flavour, the leaves are smoked in bamboo trays over pine wood. It has a smoky flavour with underlying sweet undertones which makes for a truly unique tasting tea. Lapsang Souchong tea has one of the most recognisable and unique flavours of all herbal teas. The flavour is strong but clean, crisp and refreshing - anyone who has a penchant for smoked foods will instantly be a fan. Lapsang Souchong tea is particularly popular in European countries as well as America. This particular tea from Solaris Tea originates from the Zi Guo Tea plantation of the Fujian Province in China.
The Solaris Tea Organic Lapsang Souchong Tea is a multiple award-winning herbal tea. It has been awarded a Gold Star Award several times over the past few years at the annual Great Taste awards. It was also honoured as the Best Grocery Product at previous Think Organic awards. This tea is a certified organic product as approved by the Organic Trust. Each 100g container can make from 70 to 210 cups of tea, depending on how many times the leaves are re-infused.
