Pavel Koldas bees collect nectar from heather flowers (Calluna Vulgaris) growing abundantly on the heathlands of the Wicklow mountains. This unique raw honey with a dark amber to red-brown color with a thixotropic consistency has exceptional natural healing properties. Raw Heather honey has a mild sweetness with smoky undertones.
Its thick and creamy, allowing it to spread easily on warm toast. It also melts nicely into tea, coffee or porridge.
