Solaray Psyllium Husks is a soluble fibre which is a well-recognised natural bowel movement assistant. It is derived from the husks of a seed grain. Psyllium Husk are one of the most popular herbal remedies for digestive issues. This natural product can help to promote regular bowel movements. It is most commonly in regards to constipation. It absorbs liquid in the intestines and swells to form excrement. The increased size of the excrement stimulates bowel activity and triggers an urge to release. Psyllium Husks are also believed to help lower high cholesterol levels. This form of dietary fibre is broken down in the colon rather than the intestines. They act as a food source for friendly flora in the colon. This Solaray supplement is free from Yeast, Wheat, Milk, Egg, Soya, Gluten and Sugar. It is also free from added starch, preservatives and colours.
Directions
Note: Always take these tablets with plenty of water, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Recommended Intake: For adults and children over 6 years of age, take 1-4 capsules one to three times daily. Effects usually take between 12 to 24 hours but can take up to three days.
