Clearspring Organic Traditional Japanese Agar Flakes Agar flakes are a high quality vegetarian alternative to gelatine for making desserts and jellies. They have a neutral flavour and are free from any chemical bleaching or softening agents. Agar flakes are rich in calcium, magnesium, potassium, iodine, iron, zinc and selenium which are required by our bodies to operate at its peak. Directions One (1) heaped tablespoon of agar flakes for 250ml of liquid. When using an acidic liquid more agar flakes are needed. Heat the contents, do not stir. Simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the flakes dissolve....
