TERRANOVA FERMENTED CORDYCEPS (Cordyceps sinensis) is a medicinal mushroom
species that is highly valued for its remarkable therapeutic properties and found naturally in certain high mountain regions of Asia. Used in Chinese Medicine for over 300 years, this mushroom has long been considered the tonic for all-round health. The patented technique known as submerged cultivation is the best technology to manage the identity and purity of medicinal mushrooms, while maximising absorption, bioavailability and potency.

Cordyceps is supported by research documenting its potent health-promoting qualities, including anti-ageing and energy-enhancing properties. Rich in antioxidants, enzymes and vitamins, cordyceps has been used in Chinese medicine to support numerous health systems, including the kidneys and cardiovascular system.

The studied health benefits of cordyceps include enhancing immune function (and perhaps even immune-regulating properties), slowing the ageing process, improved athletic performance, blood sugar regulation, and renal and cardiovascular support.
Terranova fermented mushrooms are produced utilising a unique technology (known as submerged cultivation) whereby the mycellium are cultivated on a sterile liquid substrate. The substrate is adapted to each different mushroom. One major benefit of this production method is that the growth medium can be easily separated from the
mycelium by filtration. This process retains not only the mycelium, but also all extracellular beta glucans which are water soluble and very easily absorbed, hence more bioavailable, ensuring the highest activity/potency. Additionally, the end product retains no traces of the growth medium or substrate. Ginger Rhizome/Root, in addition to its common use in helping maintain healthy circulation, is also often used to help
facilitate distribution of nutrients in the body.
