Terranova Fermented Kombucha Fermbucha
TERRANOVA KOMBUCHA provides the health-promoting and extraordinarily popular fermented black tea in a capsule form. The health benefits of fermented foods may come from the microbial metabolites produced during the fermentation process.
This formulation features Fermbucha™, the technologically advanced, alcohol-free kombucha, fermented with SCOBY (a symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeasts). By virtue of its unique production processes, Fermbucha™ contains numerous powerful health-promoting metabolites, highly absorbable flavonoids, possessing SOD-like properties and a wide variety of polyphenols.
The content of total polyphenols and flavonoids of black tea increases after 21 days of fermentation with SCOBY at 28°C. During this controlled fermentation process, there is a breakdown of complex substances into smaller compounds. Consequently, the content of phenolic compounds in kombucha, as well as its antioxidant activity, increases. Fermbucha™ is put through a special heat treatment process after fermentation to ensure maximum stability.
Regular intake of kombucha is considered beneficial to liver health and detoxification, digestive, immune and cardiovascular health. Additionally, benefits may be seen in energy production, along with a decrease in inflammation and free radicals (subsequently associated with a slowing of the ageing process).
This formulation is complemented by the addition of MATCHA GREEN TEA CEREMONIAL GRADE AAA, which is the highest quality Matcha available. Rich in multiple nutrients, it is a source of many trace elements including vitamins, minerals, free amino acids, chlorophyll and potent health-promoting polyphenol compounds known as catechins.
