Riley Organic Cotton Applicator Tampons are made with 100% certified organic cotton - no pesticides, no rayon, and no hidden toxins. The string is woven directly into the tampon (unlike mainstream brands), not glued, so you’re only putting natural fibres where they belong.
Each tampon is housed in a plant-based applicator made from renewable sugarcane, designed for comfort and ease of use. Rinse and recycle after use for a lower impact on our planet.
Built with leak-proof patented technology, these tampons are hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, and free from chlorine bleach, pesticides, titanium dioxide, dyes, paraffin, glycerin, and other harsh additives found in many mainstream brands.
Every part of our packaging is considered:
-
Wrappers made from compostable wood pulp
-
FSC-certified boxes from responsibly sourced card
Are the tampons scented or bleached?
Do your tampons contain artificial absorbent?
How do these tampons conpare to other brands?
What absorbency should I use?
Tampon Core & String
Made from 100% organic cotton, these are biodegradable. However, for hygiene reasons, we recommend wrapping used tampons in tissue or their biodegradable wrapper and disposing of them in the general waste bin. They should never be flushed, as they can cause blockages and harm marine life.
Wrapper
Made from wood pulp (Natruflex), this can go in your compost bin if industrial composting is available locally. Otherwise, dispose of it in general waste, where it will still break down safely.
Applicator
The plant-based applicator, made with sugar-cane, is BPA-free and recyclable in some areas. Please check your local recycling guidelines. If not recyclable in your area, dispose of it in general waste.
We are dedicated to maintaining the accuracy of product information. However, as ingredients and usage instructions may change over time, we cannot guarantee complete accuracy. For the most reliable and current details, please refer directly to the manufacturers' information.
Step 1: Unwrap & Prep
Remove the tampon from its wrapper. Hold the applicator with your thumb and middle finger, gently pull out the inner tube until the top of it meets the bottom of the outer tube.
Step 2: Position & Insert
Hold the bottom of the outer tube, position the tip of the applicator at your vaginal opening and gently insert.
Step 3: Push & Go
Once the outer tube is fully inserted, push the inner tube to release the tampon. Then gently remove the applicator and dispose of it.
Step 4: Remove & Dispose
Change every 3-4 hours. To remove, gently pull the string. Wrap the used tampon and applicator in tissue and dispose of it in the bin.
