Natural slim fitting sanitary pads with wings, ultra absorbent and an absorbency suitable for light flow or towards the end of your period. Ultra regular pads come individually wrapped so are easily carried around when you are out and about.

All Natracare pads are commercially compostable to EN 13432. This means they break down into organic matter and return to soil when composted, so less waste to worry about. Natracare helps reduce your exposure to synthetic materials and ingredients, including plastic, perfume and dyes often found in conventional period products. Gynaecologist recommended and suitable for sensitive skin or those with allergies.

Why use wood pulp inside of the pads?
We never use chemically processed pulp (such as rayon aka viscose) or synthetic materials in our pads. Instead, we use fluffed wood pulp in the absorbent core of our pads Our pulp is sustainably sourced from fast growing, Scandinavian pine trees – which is very absorbent! We mechanically process the wood to make it soft and fluffy – this fibre structure is more absorbent than using cotton alone. Cellulose pulp is natural and renewable, and a more sustainable alternative than superabsorbent polymers (SAPs) found in many conventional pads. The cover is made from certified organic cotton, and this sits next to the skin, acting as a soft cover to wick away leaks.
How do you use the wings on a pad?
Natracare ultra pads come with wings. When prepping the pad for use, remove the central paper strip and press the sticky side into your underwear. Then peel the paper off the wings, and fold around the sides of the gusset and press underneath. This helps hold the pad in place whilst being used.
Are pads with wings better?
Choosing whether to use pads with or without wings comes down to personal preference. You may prefer keeping a pad extra securely in place with wings. Or your may find it an unnecessary extra or prefer the feel of pads without wings.
How do I dispose of Natracare ultra pads and packaging?
Natracare pads are Seedling Mark commercially compostable to EN 13432 and ASTM D6400 where facilities exist. It’s also possible to compost our pads at home. If you don’t have a compost bin, pads should be disposed of with your regular waste. The packaging is made from recycled cardboard and the pad wrapper from paper

Pad: Certified organic cotton, ecologically certified cellulose pulp, plant starch, non-toxic glue

Wrapper: Paper peel strip, paper pocket

Packaging: Recycled cardboard
