What Is Psyllium & What Are Its Benefits?

Psyllium is a type of fibre that acts as a gentle, bulk forming laxative Psyllium. Similar to other soluble fibres, it passes through the small intestine without being completely broken down or absorbed. This allows the psyllium to absorb water, which in turn helps to reduce constipation and diarrhoea and support overall digestive health.

Choose From Our Wide Range Of Psyllium Supplements

Evergreen Healthfoods stock psyllium is both supplement and food form. To add psyllium husks to your diet, add 1-2 teaspoons to a large glass of water (at least 250ml) and stir and drink immediately. Ensure to follow this with a second glass of water. For both supplement form and food form, ensure to increase your water intake during the day.
